Traul Varner Vineyard- Jacksonville, OR

A new 15 acre planting owned by David Traul and Lena Varnerl, including high quality clones of Viognier, Chardonnay, Chenin blanc, Malvasia Bianca, Syrah, Malbec, Petite Verdot, Sangiovese and Tempranillo. A very dense planting (1815 vines/acre), VSP trellising, drip irrigation, frost protection (wind machines). Planted 2007/2008. Commercial production to begin in 2009. Pacific Crest has been involved in this project since inception, providing initial consultation, ground preparation and all phases of development and management.
